Raksha Bandhan is one of the main festivals in India. The festival is celebrated with great zeal in various parts of the country. It is known to strengthen the brother-sister bond. The students at Vriddhi celebrated this occasion with great enthusiasm and joy.
The students adorned beautiful attires to celebrate this pious day. The rakhis were designed and made by the own students with the material provided.
The girls applied tilak on their brothers’ forehead, tied the rakhi on their wrist and exchanged sweets. The brothers gave gifts to their sisters and pledged that they will stand by them and take care of them in every situation.
The connection and bond one shares with brothers and sisters is simply matchless. No matter how much they fight with each other over trivial things when the time comes they stand by one another and extend their support and we at Vriddhi celebrates this spirit.
